Bad fuel/Why are dealers aggressive flagging trucks as warranty void?

I hope I can get some advice, dealer don't know. Only in the winter with the defroster on while idling I will get strong fumes in the cab. It is worse now than last winter. I have checked for exhaust leaks, none found. Am I missing some thing.

If your not finding any exhaust leaks, I would bet your air intake is just sucking in your exhaust. Ever since I installed the 370's I get this a lot when driving through town during the winter months. See if it happens on a windy day with your exhaust tip pointing down wind.

try genos cab filter kit

My '99 does this ever since installing mach 1. 6's(dd2's prior) and a EZ box. I guess its just running richer. I've got the cab filter. It's helped slightly. We've got draft tubes on these things.

Thanks for the replys. Matt400, I'll bet that is my problem. If it works my wife will be alot happyer, it does get too strong after 5 min. Thanks again.

Just an after thought but, did you just change your oil?? The reason I ask is because I get a odor after every oil change that smells like diesel/oil. This may not be the problem, but I thought I would throw it in. Oo.

The last service was 3K ago, I run 5K oil changes. I use rotella T for the last 2 years. I only notice this oder when it is cold out and the defroster is on. My last truck never had this problem (2000

1 ton).
