Diesel Generator Questions

Anyone have any experience with this diesel generator? Diesel Gen



Also what does power factor mean? Some of these generators have a power factor of 1. 0 and other have a power factor of 0. 8. Which is better?

I have no experience with that particular gen set but the closer you get to 1. 0 on the power factor the better. 1. 0 is perfect as far a PF goes. Good luck.

I have one very similar to it with electric start. It is loud - about the same as a Generac gasoline unit. It does OK so far. I've had it a little over a year. I use it around the shop and as a standby for power should the electricity go off.



I use a Yamaha for camping.
