Competition Extreme Intercooling

Everyone go here and order a rule book. Read the general safety rules. There are diagrams of the driveshaft loops.

We do now have a Director of Finance/Merchandise. So we will be putting up a link in the next two weeks to the membership form. Fill it out and send it in, you will not receive t-shirts or decals until May. We are currently working on getting sponsors for the 2003 divisional purses. Once we finish that, the t-shirts will be printed and mailed out.

UPDATE!

After a conversation with the NHRA today we have some rule revisions:

OEM trucks have a crankshaft height limit of 36 inches. OEM will coincide with our Street Diesl Class.

Flywheel Shields will meet General regulation 2:10. 11. 99 or quicker rather than 13. 99.

Like I said, maybe one pass...

Can't someone tell me what my daily driver will need for safety requirements? And driver gear?--for instance, the SCCA requires leather shoes, 2 layers of fire-"proof" clothing neck to ankle, plus gloves, and an up to date helmet and 5 or 6 point belts (dated as well).

I've been around some roundie-rounder tracks that don't require squat but a skid lid. Never been around real straight-line racing.

wade what all is done to your truck what kind of times do you thanks it might make asfar as personel stuff untill you get under 11. 99 its a helmnit and long paints per nhra

the truck you will need the overflow cans and will have to check on the drive shaft loop but per nhra I thank its also 11. 99 but not sure on that

Just a UFM box right now and 2WD/6spd. Will have 100hp injectors and HX40 eventually. Not a fast truck.

Don't think I'll be seeing any 11's.

wade you should be fine with just the overflow bottles. The rule book I have calls for 13. 99 or quicker must have drive shaft loop expept vehicles running 13. 00 or slower with street tires

my rule book is 2 years old Eric may have an updated book and they may have changed the drive shaft loop

That's the rule George, but the DHRA is going to stick with 13. 99 on all vehicles on the driveshaft loop.

Wade, you won't need all that. 13. 99 and faster you need a helmet and long pants. Other than that, everything else effects your truck which I have already stated in my original post.
