I've done some searches and still have a few ?'s of how the crankcase can fill with fuel. First off my truck is running fine no odd colored smoke no real loss in power only oil pouring out of the breather. I thought if I cracked an injector or something it would run like crap. So, could a connector tube be leaking or what. It seems to fill up pretty quick since I changed the oil and drove it to the dealer about 7 miles and the dipstick was aleady on the rise.

So for now she in the shop awaiting diagnosis, any ideas? Also no pressure box in use.

Best bet would be a cracked injector or injector tip washing the cylander walls with diesel and thus filling the crankcase. Another possibility is that there is a cracked line inside the valve cover leaking diesel before it gets to the injector.

loose connector tube from lines to injector can blow out the o-ring on the injector body sealing the leak back passage from the engine top end. .

They told me it was a cracked injector. Of course that's after they told me they were going to void my warranty for the DTT shift enhansor! Then the story was they sent the diagnostics to Cummings who voided the warranty, thats right the service manger said CUMMINGS. Then the story was it must have cracked because of a downloiader such as Bullydog which I don't own. Anyhow the injector is on order and should be back on the road soon. Thanks for the replies.
