There is a lot of talk about fuel additives in the 3rd gen forums, but not much info in this area. Any body have success stories about fuel additives and which ones. How does this affect fuel pumps, VP life???

I have run Power Service for 131,000 + turns. Still have my orginal VP. I still have my lift pump also, although I did replace it with a FASS at 70,000, it still is ok. Good aditives will keep your tank free of moisture and bacteria. Power Service is what is most available to me. I know there are those that run Stan-a-dyne and other stuff and have very good results. I run a 32 oz bottle every tank when I am traveling cross country on my trips to Idaho or Utah, which is about every 3 months. Around town when I am home, I don't worry about it too much. I use 8 oz of Power Service Bio-Cide twice a year regular as clock work. I have never had water or moisture or anything else show up in my fuel when I do my filter changes.

i use Lucas upper cylinder lubricant... worked great after i ran it in a couple of tanks of fuel..... im not getting better MPG. . and really cleaned my injectors up. .
