Happy new year

Do the DruaMax trucks use a lift pump?

Awww man! You're just trying to get me i trouble with my wife, huh? :-laf

Not that I'm not usually in trouble because of diesel stuff. ;)

Husqvarna and Bobcat 2300 are both rebadged Club Car/Ingersoll Rands

Yes they are.

I designed the tilt steering column/shaft for the Club Car vehicle when I worked for Timken.

Also had the opportunity to spend some time in a couple of their vehicles (and the competitions) on their test track. Pretty cool.

I have a gator just like that and was wondering if you could tell me how you turned up the fuel on it I have been throwing around the idea of turboing it for a while

The injection pump max fuel adjustment has a tamper proof cap that is difficult to remove. It has been a while since i last looked at it. The adjustment screw/locknuts are located on the the rear of the pump sticking out horizontal. It is under a tamper proof cover that looks like a piece of pipe that is about 3/4 diameter and about 1 1/4 long. It is not a thin tin cover that can just be pryed off. The only way i was able to remove it was to cut it long ways and then insert a screwdriver in the cut to expand the inside diameter and allowing it to release off its internal locking clip. I saved the part so maybe i can post a picture of it. It is difficult to get a tool in to make the cut. I used a air reciprocating saw with a metal blade cut to the exact length. Clear as mud right? I will try to post a pic of the cover later this week. You can most likely get 30 hp with just more fuel but it will be a bit smokey.

I just bought a Deere 2320 with a Yanmar 3TNV76,1116cc, 24hp engine. I would like to put a turbo on it but concerned about head gaskets and the bottom end.

The stock compression ratio is 23:1 on my tractor, do you know what the compression ratio is on your gator? How hard is it to blow these things up?

This is just like mine, I do not have any pictures yet.

followed your directions on removing the tamper proof crap; turned the screw both directions wiht NO results out of exhaust pipe showing increased fuel. with a total of TWO CLOCKWISE TURNS from stock i got a result, rough stumbly idle with no response for acceleration, backing as much as 1/2 COUNTERCLOCKWISE from stock seemed to be inaffective too. any help?

LOL Yanmar and Kubota engines are TOUGH! You gotta love an all iron engine! I have given my Kubota mower HELL and the engine has been flawless, with a fuel enhancement performed years ago. I have enhanced a couple Yanmar L100 engine on my Champion air compressor and a L60 on a pressure washer I built for our company, but my L70s (on the wood splitter, pressure washer and water pump) are stock. They are tough little all aluminum air cooled engines.

I have a 686 cc Lombardini engine on my Arctic Cat ATV. I turned up the fuel on it a little and it BEGS for a turbo! Plumbing would be a nightmare though!

These Yanmar's and Kubota's are very tough little diesels. I turbocharged a Grasshopper about 6 years ago that went from 21hp to about 35. The engine has 2500 hours about 1000 of that with the turbo with zero problems. It will mow foot high field grass going up hill at full speed with no drop in RPM. I have had very good luck turbocharging these little engines I like to keep the boost between 4-7 psi with a 40-50% increase in power.

Ok guys, I'm new to the forum. I have a 2005 HPX gator and am in need of guidance for a turbo install/upgrade. First of all, what are your suggestions for a turbo? I looked on ebay for the turbo part numbers listed in this thread but came up empty. Any other suggestions on where to look or who to call?

MD500E, I have a 2005 X495 with a Yanmar 3TNV76 that I want to apply a turbocharger too. Do you have a parts list for what you did with this 2520 that you would consider sharing? It would be appreciated, -- email address removed --.
