Wow -

what articulation!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't see how the Humvee even comes close to this rig ---- except that it has a lower profile... ... ... ..... it certainly isn't in the same league mechanically at all... ... ... ... in fact the MOG is where you start the list - everything is way way below IMO.

the MOG is 10 steps ahead of a hummer when it comes to off-road and mechanical wise... the hummer is VERY VERY over-rated... the guy in them pictures also has two hummers... they are nice machines but very limited on most trails because of there weight, width, and lack of articulation... most of the clubs rigs will out wheel a hummer even when in 2wd... . :-laf

and in all honesty the civilian hummers are more capable than the military ones... we do a charity ride every year for "Toys for Tots", the marines bring a few HUMVEE's out... were constantly yankin or winchin them things out... :-laf

Wow, that Mog went for only 8900! I'd love to build up a 4-door version with a small pickup bed in the back and either a B5. 9 or B4. 5. [I'd also want to use it as a daily driver].

As soon as I win the lottery.

Notice they have a dealership network in the US now at Freightliner... link.

Not trying to start any kind of arguement here but the comment about the civilian hummers being more capable than military hummers isn't necessarily true. They are the same, only after leaving the assembly line one goes one way to get "militarized" and the other goes to get the civilian stuff added and such. I think every 5th one on the line is a civilian model. Being in the military myself I thought the same thing until I attend a factory school and toured the factory.

Either way I perfer my CTD... . would love to have a MOG as a toy.

The reason a lot of ppl say the civilian Hummer is more capable then a military one is because the civilian Hummer doesnt have the extra weight of the body armor... course then again it could be because the civilians that drive the Hummers have a lil more off road experience and know how to drive them better...

the military ones are normally aspirated also (all of them that I've seen and all the rest as far as I know) it seemed sluggish compared to the civilian witch are turboed...

the marines that were on the Toys for Tots run were humvee drivers, they were trained and went to school to drive them they knew what they were doing, most of the time they were stuck was because of weight or lack of power...

here are some pics... year after year the military ones get schooled by the civilian ones... but in there defense the civilian's do wheel them alot, have better tires and much more power... .

entering mud hole...
