the diesel page was doing a 2nd pulloff and wanted a few chipped trucks to come over and run thru the test with them. since i've been a member over there forever i chose to go compete with them. i had never met MORE POWER before and i think he's a great guy.

i was told that bullydog was bringing there propane and chipped duramax making 400rwhp up for the test. well they didn't make it. but there was a chipped duramax there.

my red dodge was by far the most bombed truck there and it was fun taking people for rides in my truck. everyone was very impressed with the mighty killer b.

it was fun meeting with the people from the diesel page and razzing them a little about there trucks, both ford and chevy. here is the link: http://www.62-65-dieselpage.com/features/dieselday.htm

Nice post Jim. Thanks for representing us, sound like you had a great time. Too bad you didn't have a few test runs, sound like you could have even done better!

Did you have the propane on?

I missed where this was at, was it close by?

How do you like the PE Comp? Did you notice a big difference from the EZ?

Again, GOOD JOB!

Wow... the dodge boys really put the hurt on the PSD and the duramax. I'm not talking beat... I'm talking destroyed!

And they never even mentioned the vast gulf in performance. . oh, well :)

i only ran propane on a couple of my 0-60 runs. i like the comp it is giving me alot more fuel becuase now my egt's will goto about 1600. we ran these tests outside of missoula. i think i could of done under a minute but i screwed up the launch so it was my fault not the diesel pages. i didn't even ask to do it again. i was faster leaving the comp in the ez setting due to egt's.

Power Wagon

i did smoke them but i was bombed alot more than any of the other trucks there. i thought the duramax did a helluva job. you should have seen people shaking there heads at my 2500rpm 4wd launchs:) the stock dodge did a good job i thought, it just doesn't have the hp for this kind of test.

i was hoping to do a test keeping a constant speed going up the hill instead of a standing start but since i was already speeding doing the standing start it was pointless and would have been unsafe gong 90mph up the hill.
