I personally don't want too bright of a spotlight on us. I would like the attention that we deserve but don't want the EPA coming up with new regulations for diesels. I like flying under their radar for as long I can. I don't want to go to emissions test stations ever again. Had enough fun with my gas engines to last a lifetime!

RRAUSCH,

Common sense prevail?? In United states government?????????

Let's face it WE are made to look like the bad guys by all the liberals when they push their PROPAGANDA and the common sense conservative always losses.

We need a nationally recognized orginization that speaks out about frivilous Govt. law and the destruction to our freedoms it causes. This problem is way out of control and I fear it will just be a downhill slide to communism in the next 75yrs. in the US.

It makes me real mad the way these people have run down my/our country!!!

This past week, I hit two dealers for parts. Neither one was readily vesed to find what I needed. Now you can look at this two ways. Either Cummins engines really are dependable and don't break much or DC employees don't know their butt from from first base. Perhaps it depends on where you live.

I think overall though, if you drive a diesel, you need to know a bit about what you have. I don't necessarily think you can blame GM but the general public does not have a clue. Is that good or bad? I think it is better that we have a closed shop so to speak.

Keep the general public out of it in other words. No matter that we drive a GM or a Ford or a Ram. While heathy competition is the norm, we need to respect our choices but stick together for the overall good of diesel lovers.

Well, Brian, you can find some of us in the multi-brand brotherhood over at www.diesel-central.com We all get along pretty good over there, and mix well at events without ending up in fist fights. :D

I understand diesel people wanting to keep a low profile, given the way the liberals and eco-nazis have practically taken away a lot of what we enjoy, without proper justification. They haven't stopped, and never will, until enough people band together to stop them. Even the Bush adminstration is letting the EPA go ahead with strangleholds on the diesel industry. Even though there's abundant scientific evidence that diesel engines burn fuel far more completely and efficiently than gas engines.

But if this keeps up, we soon will not have ANY motorsports in this country at all !!!!

I like being stealth. I roll up beside a mustang and give it a little rev and the guy laughs at me... ..... Then at the next stoplight he won't look at me... :D
