Great new look!

Stacks and Horses

Thanks for the post! Hopefully this one won't be so Ford and Banks loving. I guess this issue will determine whether I'll subscribe or not.

DTT trans

Just wanted to tell how much I love my new truck :) It's been unbelievable, how much this new full transmission has helped my truck. It's been in for 2 months with no problems and after a few hard launches & fuel fill ups, my mileage has increased some. If you have an auto DTT is the way to go. :D

You are suppose to be able to get it at Borders... but when I asked them about it... they gave me the deer in the head light look! So far I have not been able to fine it. .

It is still Ford heavy, the cover says Ford F-Frenzy:Big Bad Boys. The truck features are all fords and one gmc.

Well I probably won't even waste the $3. 99 on this one then. Thanks for the heads-up.

Rick - I remember seeing the first copy at Barnes and Noble, Books-a-Million, and Wal-Mart. Try looking at those places too.

At Least Diesel Power Magazine had TiM Coverage

Say what you will about Diesel Power Magazine, They had a good article in their first edition about Thunder in Muncie, and the TDR magazine didn't even mention it. So, I'll buy the 2nd edition, and join the DHRA to get a free subscription too! :D Regards, Moose00

Did they do any more truck testing. If they did, were the trucks weighed this time or did they just guess. Brand new 6,000 lb Diesel 4 door 4x4s. I don't think so.

Congrats to Members "SuperSonic" Chris Watson and "SmittyBuilt" Jimmy Smith for there recognition in a national magazine for their well built trucks! Oo.

Found it next to all the "ricer" mags, must say it is Ford heavy again. Was ready to pitch it in the trash when I saw the feature on the Ford pulling truck, but once I read it was Cummins powered I figured I would hold on to this copy a little longer. That is a nice truck.

I finally found the new issue of this "magazine" yesterday. I don't think I will buy another, it's just a big Ford ad. If I had a ford, this magazine would be the greatest publication ever produced. I kind of was willing to let it slide until I came to the feature about the 7. 3... Why don't they feature the 6. 0..... :-laf

Regardless of any one thinking it is an all Ford or such magazine, I really appreciate the fact there is finally a magazine that is dedicated to diesel powered vehicles. While I drive a Dodge, I do find a ton of interest in the Powerstroke and Duramax as well. I'm sure they are not ignoring the Cummins, its only the second issue. I have put my name on the subscriber list and cant wait for the third issue in August.

I'm willing the bet they are "Pherd Biased" because the Editor drives a Pherd FlowerSmoke. :-{} Bet he got a sweet deal on that truck too.

However, they are open to other models which is definately something nice to see. :D

This Mag is a pain in the @$$ to look for. Found the first issue on my 8th stop. Summer issue no luck so far. . Not sure it's worth the effort to find!
