Diesel Power Products Cool Hose

Wanted to get some feedback from you guys. We have been making the 3rd Gen Cool Hose for 5 years now and have had nothing but good response from all of you on TDR. The changing economy has caused sales to slow a bit and we are trying to decide if we want to commit to the next order. If you have one give us some feedback on what you think of it. I know some of you were even involved in the early testing phase. It's always been a very simple, effective product. Thanks in advance.

i liked it enough to put it on three of my trucks we are after mileage. the cool hose, tag, psm combo was the best of every thing we tested

I love mine... and would recommend it to anyone.



The fit-up was excellent and I like that it only has two connections instead of 4 like most of the other aftermarket systems. I was skeptical about the red color, but now I'm glad I got red instead of black. I also like the insulating effect of the thick silicone.



The only negative I can think of is that I need to disconnect it at the airbox lid when servicing the air filter. I can get the lid off with the cool hose attached, but I can't get the lid back on (the plastic tabs require the lid to be rotated in order to go back on).



Still, its way easier to deal with (service) than the aFe Stage 2Si system I had...



I did the PSM CAI and the AEM synthetic panel dry filter too...



I tried the aFe Stage 2Si system and was thoroughly not impressed with the fit-up to the foam fender intake seal and its silicone boots seemed to be under alot of stress due to the mis-alignment issues. Also, the air sensor was sealed with a cheap open cell foam seal.

I'm extemely happy with my Cool Hose set up. Just the right amount on turbine whine and performance with the PCI has been very satisfactory. You guys did a great job with the design. Very easy to install and work with.

I have the blue version of the Cool Blue Tube and the Cold Air Intake. Both fit and have performed flawlessly. As I have said in other threads, the customer service I received with these two items from PSM was exceptional! The data PSM presents on their website is what tipped me threre way. Their HP listings appeared more realistic to me than some of the other companies claims. And the whine from the turbo is music to me ears. I would highly recommend these products and thanks again PSM.
