Diesel Powered Performance Cruiser.

Over the Fourth, I was in my buddies 23" fishing boat. It is powered with a 350 HP Chevy 350. It tops out at about 35-40 MPH

(I think).



I would love to have a 30" Performance Criuser that has a top speed of close to 60 Kts.



I cant seem to find a whole lot of information about Performance/Offshore Cruisers that use Diesel Engines.



The idea of twin 370B engines, or twin ISB300's with DD2's in something like a 33' Scarab AVS just gives me a full on woodie... but the weight of the engines might sink the boat.



Please help!

That 23' must have been pretty heavy to only do 35-40 mph with a 350hp motor..... Did it have an outdrive, or was it an inboard? It may have also been under-propped. Something doesn't seem right there.

it is a tunnel drive... ... the engine tached out at 4K... . it may need a bit of help.



I do not think they make his model any more, but this is as close as I can find to it.
