Diesel price question

Has anyone seen the price of diesel come down with the end of the home heating oil season? This has been the usual cycle since I have been concerned with the cost of diesel . With winter's end, fuel comes down and gas goes up. I haven't seen it happen this year yet. Everything has gone up to reflect the price of crude, but unlike years past, diesel is still much higher than gas well into the "summer driving season".

I wish it would come down but id plan on 5. 00 +per gal. for the near future. My driving season is every day as i use the truck for work.

I feel bad tacking on a tank of fuel to a job thats more than a few days but it aint my fault :(

. . and add to the equation all the airplanes that were grounded for several days. Maybe all of this together is why fuel hasn't gone to $5/gal

$4. 39 here last i checked.

i remeber a few months ago when it was $3. 90 and i was waiting for it to go back down so i could fill the tank. then i got over $4. 00 i realized that price may seem cheap if i waited another week. and now id love to find a stations with diesel @ $3. 99. look for at least $5. 00 by summer

I had forgotten about the "traditional" summer price decrease of diesel fuel. This seems to be gone too. It would be nice if we were to be told honestly why fuel prices have come to this. All I read is alot of speculation and opinion as to why this has happened.

All I know any more is that some people are making alot of $ while most of us learn to live without. It remains to be seen how much more we as a country can take.
