Diesel prices going down??

I'm in the process of installing it, but I took before pics and measurements.

So far it's been a fairly easy job. The hardest part was the electrical connector for the fuel pump.

I have a 700 gallon fuel trailer thats sitting empty right now. Prices haven't come down that much here besides the fact I just don't put that many miles on lately. Wouldn't want the fuel to go bad before I could use it.

Well still holing $2.699 here, and I just pumped 51.5 gallons of the stuff!!

Finally fell in Las Cruces today, low is $2.34 but most still in the 2.50 range.

$3.09 in San Diego. Chevron's beating the independents. That includes $0.80 +/gallon for Sacramento. As stated ,no where to go.

Diesel has "fallen" to $3.58/gallon here in Fort Bragg, CA...
I'll bet thats HIGHER then most anyone else is paying, even in CA!!!

In short, wile Crude has prices have plunged by OVER 50%, retail prices have fallen by LESS then 10% where I live in the same time period

Of course, perhaps this is partly due to failing demand to Covid resulting in gas stations still working through already refined, higher priced product.

80 cents a gallon taxes. Transportation costs play into it too. My tank's been full for a month now. I drove it this morning as I'm disinfecting my camper water tank and needed to slosh it around some. Boy,that's a huge revenue drop for all states right now. $2.49 yesterday for Costco regular gas. Think if you were a full timer RV couple. Where do you camp aside from BLM land or the desert?

South east MI $2.56 was the lowest for diesel near me, paid $1.20 for gas at Sams yesterday. This might be the largest difference in price between gas and diesel around here, that I can remember anyway.

We ordered fuel oil for the heaters this week for $1.82/gal. That is far less than we have paid here in PA for quite some time.

In 1966 gas was $23.9 in Encinitas Ca. I didn't pay attention to diesel as all I had experienced was soot belching buses downtown after the oil companies killed streetcars. My dad would ride for a nickel from east San Diego to the beach. Diesel was $0.98 in 1999 when I got my 24v.
