Diesel prices up in your neck of the woods?

I fueled up at my local station this past Saturday morning at $1. 36 a gallon, traveled up the interstate and noticed fuel prices anywhere from $1. 49 to $1. 54... WOW to say the least!
Sure enough came back home later that evening and my local station was at $1. 51, how can a 15 cent increase in one day be justified?
BTW... This is in Vero Beach, Florida

Paying $1. 49 in Portland, OR. Up from $1. 39 two weeks ago. We have our Senator (Ron Wyden) looking into the high gas/Diesel prices we pay in Oregon. Hope he finds somthing soon.

Same down here in Corvallis,rrhode. We still have the 4th highest prices in the nation. No end in sight with OPEC holding the knife to our necks and Congress not wanting to do anything about it #ad

Same here is Southeast Texas, four stations within one mile, prices from $1. 31 to $1. 46 (and that was yesterday) A couple of months ago diesel was less than unleaded, now it's above premium. I don't think it can all be blamed on OPEC, looks like some greed involved. It's all gonna be blamed on the cold weather in the northeast. By the way you can check fuel prices nation wide at Flyingj. dcom.

I paid $1. 42 at a Texaco a couple of weeks ago; last week I paid $1. 32 at Flying J. Both are in Caldwell, Idaho.

In Ironwood, Michigan the price has pretty much stayed the same only going up a couple of cents at a time. Price for #2 $1. 34. 9 #1 $1. 44. 9. Early fall prices were about $1. 20.

Hey guys here in California were all the greenies and epa and smog control hits the hardest diesel just droped from 1. 62 to a whole 1. 59 a gallon,we are getting reemed!

On my way into work tonight I noticed the Union 76 station (which usually has the lowest Diesel prices around) was up to $1. 399. (Auburn, WA. ) Two different 76 stations in my home town of Enumclaw, WA. just raised their prices, both to $1. 459. I don't even want to discuss what the Texaco station is selling Diesel for. OUCH! Hey, maybe that price was for a fill up. Ya think? Nah!

Vermont zoomed from 1. 39 to 1. 86 overnight, a talk with a local owner revealed that he has been warned by the distributor that it will cross well into 2. 00 ASAP.

Well, I imagine MPG will become an even more important topic soon.

Along with how to make more power with less fuel!!

I live in eastern SD In two weeks fuel went from 1. 19 to1. 38 I almost fell out of the truck It,s a 4x4 that could hurt. Well I sucked it up $38 later back on the road blowen smoke Just glad it;s my diesel not mt old 440 I can atleast pass a station or two before stoping again Darryl

Last night I filled up at $1. 999 in Lexington. Cost $52 for the tank. Might be time to start walking. Another guy filling up said that he heard it might get as high as $3. 00/gallon by this friday. Hope he is wrong.

Gee - I wonder what the break even point is between a gasser @ 10/12 mpg and a diesel @ 17/19 mpg would be?
Think it's time to trade the Cummins in for that big block V8 gasser? or just put in that heating oil tank for my oil heater in the garage (wink wink)?

My sister in Saskatchewan said there has been an 8 cent/liter jump in 3 days there on fuel.
thats 30. 96 cents a US gallon!

The towel head wants 2. 0399. He's usually the cheapest around. Still siphoning out of my junk. If it stays cold and We don't have to work I have a months supply left. If we have to work, got to charge a fuel surcharge. Ecspeacialy for triaxels.

went from 1. 19 to 1. 39 in one night here in south Texas. Made a trip to louisiana fuel average around a 1. 20 . 2 days later went back--> 1. 39 cheapest 1. 51 was the highest i saw.
