Exactly what is this "DPF" thing?

Duramax service?

Nothing happens unless you make it happen. Never did believe in Supply and Demand and I trade futures. Thank GOD you guys and gals believe in it makes me money. It's all ma lip u la ted.

I flew into Philedelphia this week and before I left Tampa filled up at $2. 97. Today I had to fill up again since I had to pick up the TT for some warranty work and paid $3. 05. Feel for those paying way over this price. I'd still run her if it went that high, love that clack, clack, clack :)

It's the end of us enjoying our RIGS.......

I hate putting in over $100 for a fillup - I can't tell you how much I hate it - to think that every time I'm essentially giving those rotten OPEC Bas(*(*& and OUR Oil companies EXCESSIVE $$$$ Ticks me off to no end... ... that truck ran just as great on 50 cent a gallon fuel as it does now!!!!

No and I can't get use to it knowing that folks are busting their butts and just struggling to make ends meet ..... and to think every fillup I'm essentially throwing away a very good fishing reel - or whatever else I could spenf with the extra $75 BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

And "I don't appreciate the flippant remarks about enjoying this because I have oil stocks" that attitude is what's wrong with this country... .

I'm sure many of you are too young to remember in 1973 or so when we were happy paying 35 cents per gallon for gasoline and all of a sudden the price jumped all the way up to 50 cents per gallon. People were upset, mad and having a tizzy fit and saying that they were going park there cars and trucks so they don't have to pay such high ridicules prices. Kind of what we're doing now. President Nixon even lowered the speed limit to 55 mph in order to conserver fuel. We all got used to it and worked it out and I'm sure we will again. We're not going to park our big rigs, we'll just make shorter trips. As a result of what happened in 1973, the government forced the auto makers to make more fuel efficient vehicles, which resulted in the more fuel efficient diesel engines we are driving now. A lot of good came out of what happened in 1973 and some good will result again.

Let's see, how can I shorten our trip to Alaska next year and what can I do to get better mileage out of my Cummins?
