Just wondering how high they are getting in other parts of the country. When I saw $2. 249 here in Los Angeles last night my eyes nearly fell out of my head!

I pay $1. 659 in just over the state line Sturbridge, MA. Prices in CT are running $1. 879. It is worth a 20 mile round trip to fill up.

Dean

still somewhat cheaper here

The diesel here is running around 1. 53(cheapest) which is about 5 min from me to 1. 70(highest) over in NC. about 20 min drive from me...

I still don't understand i read a article on the net a few nites ago and the best i can figure the reason OPEC (*******s) is dropping production so the price goes up is that its costing them more and more each year for the size in their population growth, something about being able to meet their growth needs, what a crock of bull i think.

Im sure they made billions during the seventies which im sure they turned that money into more, I mean just where does it stop. Anyways enough venting for me. I do think it will come to an end eventually but the outcome may not be very pleasant... .

Last Friday I paid $1. 50 a gallon at the local Shell station. I had been paying $1. 44 all winter.

This is going to hurt the economy. I don't like the government involved in anything but they need to figure out a way to limit price increases to less than 5% a year.

 ..... 1. 69 NEWPORT NEWS VIRGINIA... . GAS AT LOCAL MARINA 1. 97... ... ... . GLAD THE BOATS ENGINES ARE DIESEL 1. 40 MARINE:D

The two stations I use most:

Mobil, 1. 499, Hackensack NJ

Sunoco, 1. 579, Palisades Park NJ

I like the Sunoco better because it's on a truck route and turns over the supply frequently. It's not unusual to see 4 or 5 semis wedged in there to tank up, and maybe one or two cars getting gasoline.

The cheapest I've seen locally is 1. 71about 25 miles north of Seattle and a high of 1. 99. Probably averaging around 1. 82 though

Heyyyy, having it pumped for you is a nice thing when the wind chills are below zero - I stay in the truck nice and warm. And now that it's April, winter-mix is gone (as is the competition from home heating oil), so I expect it to drop another dime or two by Memorial Day.

$$$$

$1. 789 in northern NH. I can't believe Dean is paying less in TAXachusetts than I'm paying up here. Well I do believe Dean, it's just that it is unbelievable. Must be the trucking.
