"Diesel Secret Energy" inquiry

On Diesel Secret Energy - Alternative Biofuel Biodiesel they make a claim that their product allows you to create a diesel fuel for 64 cents per gallon! Sounds too good to be true, therefore I am seeking information from this registry as to the legitimacy of this claim. Anyone out there with any info please respond!! Thanks.

You should do a search on this site 1st , this has been chewed on a lot , on many sites , I haven't kepted count but it would seem that there are larger numbers calling it snake oil , and a few using .

Take a look under "alternative fuels" forum. There is a thread on this that started 2-3 yrs ago. A guy has been using it for some time and he posts quite often.

Read those searches, but one problem with home-made biodiesel is the fact that you have to burn a bunch of diesel AND your time, just running around getting raw product and making finished product. Of course there are warranty issues, cold weather issues and a bunch of other considerations. I have no doubt that a few people with the right situation can pull it off economically, but most people would spend more in money and time than they would re-coup in fuel savings. Just my opinion though, I go shooting or fishing with my free time (no interest in lugging around used veggie oil when I'm not trying to make money) so I haven't really taken a close look at the options.
