Diesel Secret

Anyone tried Diesel Secret in a 6. 7L?

If you do a search , you come with a very high % saying this stuff is snake oil , I took a very short look at it when I 1st heard of it , with no info on it from there web site [ except claim , no facts about the chem / process ] , I became
suspicious , found no info to say it works .

I did a quick search and it seems that some folks are using it with success but on older vehicles. That said, the only fuel that will go into my 6. 7 is ULSD.

Check the mega long thread in Alternate Fuels forum by cj Hall, he's been running DSE blend fuel in his '05 for quite a while and tens of thousands of miles in his '04. The DSE stuff does make a difference, he experimented between using it and not using it in his WVO blend and it definitely makes higher quality fuel. I bought the "recipe" from cj Hall since you can buy the ingredients yourself for far less $$ than you can from the DSE guys.



Personally I'd be scared to death to use DSE fuel in a 6. 7 unless I had a lot of experience running it in an older diesel and knew the ins and outs of doing so. I wouldn't go more than about 50% DSE WVO blend fuel to diesel to stay on the safe side.
