Diesel Smell at Idle

I'm getting a pretty strong diesel smell through the vents when idling for even short periods (30 sec. or less). Goes away when I start moving. The dealer says it's normal... I have my doubts. What do you think?

Have 23948 on my 07. 5 and have never noticed it yet. used to get it sometimes on the 96 , never did figure it out. I very much doubt its normal, lets see if anyone else has that problem good luck Dan

I think you have an exhaust leak in the engine compartment area.
