Diesel so much higher than gas?!

Cousin just called from Wichita - diesel up to $3. 59 Gas down to $2. 29. What is this world coming too?

I was in Texas today and diesel went to $3. 54! Over a buck a gallon more than gas! Something is really really wrong!

I just paid 3. 30 last night. The fuel manager at the local Co-op told me that they're having to shut down refineries to retool for ULSD. This is keeping supply tight, and prices high. Wait until the ULSD hits, we haven't seen anything yet.

Prices have jumped 26 cents in 2 days at the local Loves convience store!

Just talked to the delivery driver for one of the oil companies in Topeka, Kansas. He said the diesel is getting ready to go to $3. 75/gal (from $3. 30). He said they have been out of diesel for 2 weeks.

This is the first time since I have owned the truck that it is cheaper to drive my Caddy than the truck. So dust is collecting on the truck in the garage.
