Diesel STILL at $3.39/gallon!!!!!

What I think is Bull**** is that unleaded is 2. 17 here in fairfield, and diesel is still 2. 99.



I am so frustrated with this whole situation it isn't even funny. I spent $39,470 in June for Diesel. In just that month it took an extra 5-10K out of my profit, which feeds my family. (I have a big family )

This morning on the way to work gas was 2. 17 and diesel was 2. 68. What's odd is diesel is still 2. 89 and 2. 99 in Springfield but in Ozark less than 10 miles away it's 2. 68.

diesel is still 3. 43/gal cheapest place I have found, gas is 2. 84/gal, fuel prices here haven't budged one bit, even gas, so they can't blame the gas prices on ULSD switchover problems. almost all of our oil come from local wells. Diesel around here has in fact went up the last couple weeks, It was in the 3. 20 range for a while, and has never showed a downward trend, the way it looks is we will end up being a $1. 00 higher than the south before long, I would imagine someone could make a ton of money with a tanker trucking diesel from texas to utah. funny thing over the border in evanston wyoming, fuel is about . 15/gal cheaper. something is not right

Finally dropped to $2. 769 here in western ok. I do agree that it is funny how fast it can go up but how slow it comes down. Is home heating oil going to be ultra low sulfur too?

Here in Omaha I just filled up for $2. 67. Bout time it goes down. Sad how I get excited to pay $2. 67 for fuel, but better than $3. 29 which was about a month ago.

Diesel was 2. 34 tonight when I filled and super unleaded was 1. 99! YEEEEEEEHHHAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



I might just have to give up my farming habit and start doing hotshot again if prices stay down.

Here in mid-Tennessee, premium is about $2. 60/gal (dropping fast) while diesel remains at $2. 89 (steady). My first diesel (2006 Ram 2500 Mega) has about 4 months and 6000 miles on it.



So, why does the price of diesel stay so stable and so high? Seems like the ratio of diesel to gasoline extracted from a gallon of crude would be constant. Why is not the ratio of prices constant as well? Have the big trucking companies worked out some agreement with the oil companies to maintain price stability so that the transportation costs don't fluctuate?

have you ever noticed that we all complain about the price of fuel but we all have to drive no matter what? $2. 81 for diesel here in orlando fla.

Some of us have to drive X number of miles a day whether we like it or not. Think about the farmer and ranchers in the usa. I know of guys that are burning 280 to 300 gallons of diesel a day. It takes 4 semi loads of wheat at 4. 60 to buy a semi of diesel.

The farmer/rancher has no way to pass on the increased cost of fuel. Times are tought in rural America right now.
