I just called Diesel Dynamics about the BB turbo, and he said he has 10 on the sheft right now - and they are $2000 for a 3rd gen... and they are for sale

He said the HP range is 350-600, and it will spool like a stock-fueled, stock truck... .

But he said no one had bought and installed one, so there is no one I can call, etc

And no one has tested it with the TST - because they do not sell it, only the juice, and it tested nice

So whats up, whos the first to run and plunk down $2000 ?!?! :D

If I had $2K, I think I would run to HT Turbo first. Why are they so proud of that turbo? What makes it worth $2k Tom?

honesty, i have no idea... BUT when I asked about who is already running one, The guy said "no one is yet" - So I think I will wait till some one else tests the water before i jump

Otherwise I choose the Sledpuller 66 as my new turbo

It will not work with an 03 exh brake. It comes with a new downpipe. Unlike the HTT stuff, these are ceramic ball bearing turbos. They will spool fast yet use bigger components to take more power. The comressor is efficient to ~52psi. The $2k is for a complete kit (turbo, downpipe, hoses, clamps, new intercooler pipe, elbow, etc).

So... . who's gunna be our pioneer :D May as well be you Tom, you need a bigger huffer worse than the rest of us. I am curious how they'll hold up to a few good "huffings" and the fuel of the TST.

I will call Kieth tomorrow - And see if we can make that a reality, woo-hoo I love to be the first with the NEW stuff (unless it sucks, then I hate to be the first :-laf , But I doubt it will suck)

Tommy, hurry up and call Keith, I've been thinking about different turbos for a while but just can't make up my mind so you need to get this thing on asap and let us know your impressions. It sounds a little pricey but maybe it's worth it if it works really good. I'd hate to drop 2K and not be satisfied. How bout it Keith, any satisfaction gaurantees or we get our money back????? :--) Group buy?????? Oo. Oo. Oo.

How quickly do they spool compared to the Jammer and others? Any individual HP numbers from your testing?

Yeah... C'mon... . More info! How will this turbo compare to a mild set of twins in the EGT department at the ~500HP level? Would it be a viable cheaper alternative?

I caleld, He's off till monday -- BUT I signed up as a dealer, So unless it is a total dud, I will be ordering one for personal testing, then go from there

I'm getting antsy just thinking about it!

these 3rd gen trucks really eat turbos, especially singles stacked the edge ez and the van aken and killed one stock turbo, killed 3 more stock turbos with the tst old program, killed an ats aurora 3000 turbo the second day and ats would not warranty it after they promised it would hold up, the killer b 64 12 and 14 with the upgrades for surging are decent but still get way too hot way too fast, the sled puller 66 with no surging problems fueled by the tst new program stacked with the quadzilla on the 50 setting is a pretty good setup with little lag but still gets warm, now running piers twins hx40-16 on top and a ht3b-26 on the botttom now i have mega top end and no bottom end but does not get hot fueled by the tst twins program stacked with the ez, once you hit about 12 psi of boost, it screams past 60 untill you hear the blow off valves release, i guess what i was trying to say was if you have anything to do with tst do not run anything smaller than the sled puller 66, the others run fine with a simple pressure box... .

So you have stacked the TST with the new Xillaraider??

Any codes?

Now all I need is a lay-away plan and I'm set! ;)

How well do the ball bearing turbos hold up compared to standard bushing type. Is there a recommended interval for bearing changes or are they maintanence free?
