Off Roading help with winch

This is the final proof of one of the pillars around the ARP booth at the PRI show this week, and a few ads in magizines this year. ARP is making a big push in to servicing the diesel performance market.

Is that a picture of Howard Hughes and the Spruce Goose? :-laf

Nice that Diesel is getting the attention on a serious note.

Well there goes the ARP stock down the drain, guess I will need to pull those studs out and replace them with something else. There credibility just took a big hit in my book.

ARP is making a big push in to the diesel market , and considerable investment in R&D to come up with some really killer parts . the new 12 mm head stud that is in the works will cost a little more then a ARP 2000 but will have the same clamping yield as a 14 mm . with out the necessity of all the machine work. The dedication of the head project engineer , is the same one that supplies the Top Fuel , NASCAR , INDY car , and F1 work. 100% of the current NASCAR engine programs run ARP fasteners. The F1 and INDY car engine programs are 99% ARP . so be my guest , it seems the top diesel guy including myself use exclusively ARP

I know who all uses ARP fasteners, and I don't doubt the ability of ARP to design and create a great product. What I do doubt is the intelligence of whoever came up with this marketing scheme. I just hate to see there named tied to Dr P's who has a less than satisfactory image out there.

Also, if your not sponsored by Mopar or Dodge, isn't the the pic a little misleading?

I have an arrangement with MOPAR performance parts , you keep talking about something you know nothing about , your just upset that someone ,more worthy hasn’t got the factory’s help, like made the quickest diesel truck, oh ,but I forgot that me.

If we are such bad people why do we own the quickest diesel truck, many others have try and come up short , almost doesn’t count. The product Predator and Dr. performance manufactures is one of the best modules out there , its non invasive to you computer , meaning unlike a programmer , big brother can’t see it and potentially void your warranty. The product comes with a unconditional 30 day 100% satisfaction or you money back , we get a little less then 2 % back, so someone likes the product . we average about 300 to 500 sold a month.

Some day the Doc. Bashing has got to stop. The past is the past , Doc is a totally different person then the past , I can’t speak for the past because I wasn’t around , but I personal would not be involved with anyone like what a few of you describe. Predator Power and Dr. Performance is not one person, but a corporate entity made up of a lot of good people , with some great engineers , and sales people . so find some one else to bash .

I wasn't talking about anything, note the question mark at the end of the sentence, thus making it a question. I have asked you many times if you were associated with Dodge or Mopar, due to the stickers that you have shown on the truck, or patches of which you have been seen wearing, and your answer was always no. Apparently things have changed since the last time I asked. My apologies.

I am not upset that the people out there that have gained far more respect from the general community, than you or your "world record" ever will, are not getting the factory help and assistance that you are, but maybe they are, you don't know everything Greg, you just think you do. You would be suprised to know who gets help from whom.

Big brother can, and will, see whatever it chooses to see. Nothing is non invasive and undetectable, nothing. It just takes the right person to find it, but most don't bother to look and thats what your advertising is banking on when and if one of your customers has to take there truck in for any warranty or service issues.

Maybe he has changed, and I agree that everybody has the ability to change if the so choose. Maybe you should invite him on here so that we can see he is trying to make good on his past bad dealings?

For better or worse, a man's name stands for something. Reputations are earned. Memories are long. If you're a Texan, you should understand that.

Actually the shirt is a dodge Pro Stock Truck uniform from Simpson and cost around $375 , Dodge gave me 27 sets of complete uniforms along with a 5 layer Simpson Kevlar Nomex driving suit . Maybe you should try you hand at doing what I accomplished, I’m sure its so easy any one could do it right? I mean if only one of the diesel giants would come forward, I would be left in the dust, and shown how little I really know. Oh I forgot some one did, and had an they unlimited budget, spent money like they had a printing press, and that really showed me ………right

Not to defend Greg, but I think he has a life also. His livelyhood is a fireman, his passion is racing.

Just what I see.
