Difference between 04 and 04.5

How do you tell the difference between an 04 and an 04. 5?



Mine was manufactured in March of 04 and say's 325 hp on the engine tag. It also has 4" exhaust from the turbo back.

Then you have an 04. 5. You should also have a CAT.

JohnnyH is right, yours must be an 04. 5.



Two more telltales: 04 - fan shroud mounted to the radiator, 04. 5 - fan shroud mounted to the engine.



04 - Windshield washer bottle is between the radiator and left headlight. On the 04. 5, I believe it's mounted on the passenger side firewall.

Bob. . My 4. 5 has the windshield washer bottle between the radiator and the drivers side headlight. The radiator recovery bottle is what is located on the passenger firewall.

My mistake. Thanks for straightening that out. I've only looked under the hood of a couple of 600's.
