Anyone know if there's a difference between the two IAT sensors i. e. quality? Local Dodge dealer has it for $28, local Cummins shop has it for $36.

Thanks

As far as I know, there are the exact same thing. I am surprised that the Cummins part is more than the Dodge part. Normally it is quite the contrary... .

yeah thts strang usualy the dealer gets a "*Premium*" for common cummins parts. Every thing I have priced at the dealer is much higher than a local cummins supply store. Take an injection pump (Vp44) Dodge = 4200. 00 cummins = 1580. 00

By mistake I bought a Cummins IAT over a year ago, and forgot I had it tucked away. Bought a second from the dealer (you're right about cheaper price at the dealer... . go figure).

Just installed a new IAT. Looked at them both... . they are the same, even the PN stamped on the sensor.
