Is there any mechanical differences between the duallys and the SRW 3500 besides the obvious training wheels? Any differences in axle widths, brakes, bearings, computer, studs, etc etc... ...

diff

The only difference that I am aware of is the spacers on the hubs. I don't know if the axles are narrower or not though, otherwise they are the same trucks

YES!

The ABS system is controlled differently, requires either a different computer, or different programming of that computer. There's a paragraph devoted to this issue in the latest TDR magazine, located in the TSB's for 2003 trucks. Not sure about the width of the assembly. I don't have their phone number handy, but you can call tech support at American Axle Co and they will lay down the skinny. Good Luck!

THE OTHER DIFFERENCES IS THAT THE DRW COMES WITH CAB OVER LIGHTS AND THE 2500 DOES NOT. THE 2500 HAS A HELPER SPRING SO SHE IS RATED AT LIKE 2900LBS, WHERE AS THE DRW IS RATED AT LIKE 4400 OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

Its the same rear axle on the dualie and singlee. Brakes are bigger and it looks like antilock sensors have different part #s. Oh yea the dualie has 4 tires compared to 2 for the singlee. ;) :p :D
