Yard goats to move trailers around in big warehouse sites this one happens to be a FED-EX yard. Two family members don't know what they are to me really MIL's sister boys??????? run 2 of them around and want to put 3 more on. They bought 4, and I bought 2 these that you see. They run GREAT!!! Im pulling the drive train out and going to make a toy with one not sure which one yet.

Something like this should be fun with a snow plow on the front of it, Daughter-in-law has quite a bit of plowing of snow to do just to get to the road and back to the hay barns, just all over the 2k acres of land that they work with. So I thought that rather than use Mules I would build her a Mule :-laf

Looking at snap in enclosure like jeeps have BIL has built these before they are a kick in the pants and pretty much unstoppable

Just make sure you put a reciever front and rear for a winch for those moments where they are abruptly stopped

Last pic looks like the "FrankenPlow" that my bio-dad built several years ago. :-laf



He hacked up one of his old Chebby welding trucks and made something similar. In the photo that he showed me, it was sporting a plow and a custom built set of chains with ice cleats. He also told me the chains stayed on year round and that he just dropped the plow in summer time so he could play in the mountains with it.



He got rid of it before I had ever had a chance to see it. :{ He told me that he had to because it damn near killed him a few times and he didn't think he had many more times left over to waste!! :-laf

Brother in law likes Chevy frames for some reason also, He built them when he worked at a rock quarry and during the winter they used them to plow the roads for the equipment haul roads and had one set up as a maint truck. I could see the chains pretty much 3/4 of the year around here snow and then the mud season. It will be a nice addition to the Sons and DIL's place not like they are going to drive it on road or anything.

I gave $1200. 00 for the two of them they are automatic 1 is a 3 speed the other is a 4 speed. The body's are trash. I started them drove them and they ran like a Bat O,O,H. I have striped the both of them down and got rid of the rest of it. The rear ends were pretty new but WAY TO MUCH OF A GEAR. They would be great if I wanted to climb the near vertical mountain in the backyard but way to big for what we are going to do with them my two family members bought them for spares for their growing fleet of Yard goats. BIL and I picked up a 1 ton Chevy suburban 4x4 and took the body off and will get rid of it and the other stuff that we don't need for the toy. The picture of the one that is with the pictures of the property is what we hope it will look like its just an idea picture. BIL has one that he runs around his fence line to check for down poles it has a flat bed on it and is only a 2 seat screamer we have rolled that thing MANY TIMES just hang on to the hand holds INSIDE THE BUGGY and make sure you wear a helmet and your harness is tight, its great fun to take it out in the fields and raise H with it. We don't worry to much about sheet metal just something that gets in the way when you have to get out and roll the buggy back up-right :-laf We DO HAVE A WINDOW in his cause when you plow snow at (as fast as you can go ) the snow tends to fill the cab and its real tough to see in WHITE OUT CONDITIONS cause your goggles are full also.

Now see I do just the opposite, take my windshield off, as that is one of the few parts I can't fix , as for the tin helps keep the mud at bay, to some degree anyway. Just keep cutting as the damage and rust take there toll.
She has a full cage tied in 6 different places to the frame, try not to use it though, kind of hard on the passengers, don't need my own room anymore (hospital or home) if wife let me live anyway
