Differential Gaskets

The Dodge manual says to use just RTV. I didn't think they even made a gasket for the diff cover?

That gear oil should be OK, CB.



Stan, my truck had gaskets on the diff covers when I got it, so apparently they do make them, but I just use RTV.



BTW, it helps to get all the oil film off the sealing surfaces with brake cleaner before applying the RTV. Better "stickage".
