I've owned a 99, 05, 06, 09, 16, and now 18 Dodge/Ram Cummins

Differential fluid, Used walmart 75w140 in earlier ones and 75w90 later ones. Never a problem.

Transmission, atf, atf+3, atf+4, respectively from walmart. Never a problem. Now with the Aisin will use Aisin fluid from Rockauto at $4.95/quart.

Tranfercase, atf, atf+3, atf+4, and will use atf+4 from Walmart again.

Oh I tried the expensive boutique oils and never seen any difference in performance, longevity, or mpg.

I would agree as long as not trying to stretch time/miles between changes. Operating extremes is where some "boutique" fluids shine. Some could be snake oil, others not.

I just did both pumpkins and filled them with 75w90 with Walmarts SuperTech. Heard great things about it and only 5.86 a bottle. Heck of a deal. My first time with this, I have always used Mobile 1 in the past. But dang, that is getting up there too.
