Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Differential temp. gauge ques.

I'm thinking of installing a rear differential gauge on my truck. The questions I have are where does the sending unit mount and what are normal temps. I know that I probably don't really need the gauge, but I am a gauge freak and I have one last hole to fill. I appreciate anyone that could help me.

You might want to look into a Mag-Hytec diff cover if you don't already have one. They easily accommodate a probe for a gauge, plus they look really cool
