When starting off in 1st gear I get a momentary vibration, feels like differential offset (spring rap-up) that goes away half way through 2nd gear. I've read other posts over the years and seem to remember that a set of traction bars will resolve the problem. Any body got a vendor suggestion? I appreciate all replies. ;)

I have recently ordered a set from member LSFARM. Another member that was selling them but I couldnt get a hold of was Rob Thomas. You might try pming them.

I think it is a u-joint binding problem. My truck did it too until I built a set of traction bars for it and the vibration is now gone.

If it's happened more than a couple times, check your u-joints also. Mine were toast! I went with a CV jointed rear driveshaft, no problems since. I don't drive hard enough (except towing heavy TT) to wrap the springs, and my BARELY balance factory shaft is gone. Hi-Angle Driveline in Paradise, CA
