Anyone know if anyone makes small digital gauges for our trucks? I don't care for the pods or pillar mounts since I think they take away too much visibility. TIA everyone.

Dakota digital

I have a dakota digital rectangular FP gauage mounted in the cubby hole. FIts perfect and looks like a stock type item. There stuff is very reasonably priced and high quality.

Threre's always more than one way to "Skin a Cat".

I didn't like the "A pillar pod" either, and dash pods were impossible to come by at the time.

So I took some advice from a buddy(thanks Rod), and put 'em where they can be seen, but not block my view.

Another thing to consider, digtal guages are slower to read while driving. Insted of glancing at them to see a needle position, you have to actually read the the number. And small guages are harder to read.

Just something to think about.

I always found digital easier to read. No guessing if the needle is on pointing to one number or the other or looking at it at an angle. Also u dont have to "find" the smaller needle on the face to read, but this is just my observations and opinons.

There is also the steering pod mount that mounts on the top of the steering colum. It only holds one gauage but if you can budget for an SPA u get two reading in one gauage. I have a SPA Boost and EGT on the A pillar and I'm thinking about moving them to the steering colum.

My 4 cents now,LOL
