Digital TV Question

We're getting ready to take a trip in the RV and it just occurred to me that the DTV switchover is supposed to happen very soon. I went to Wal Mart and picked up a converter box for the RV's TV. Will it work with the antenna that originally came with the RV (2003 model) or do I need to get a special "digital antenna" as well?

Should work fine. Mine gets digital and analog clear with the batwing.

I just returned from a month in various campgrounds. Since my old TV was having problems I bought a new digital TV from Costco before leaving. I can't comment on whether the converter box will do OK, but I had no trouble with my new TV getting digital TV on the trailer antenna.

My 2001 TV and Trailer antenna works fine in my Cardinal 5th wheel.

the amplified antenna in my 1980 trailer worked just fine with my new digital TV. The high definition content was spectacular.

Digital is not about the antenna it's about your tuner in your TV

I will be putting my converter box on in the next few days, so I'm interested in hearing about it. The people have spoken. Everybody seems to have no problem with it, so I'm looking forward to trying it out.
