Mopar Oil Filters - CHEAP!

Mr Bob sold me a AFE today

Well thanks to Shell, I am going to stop using Rotella. Like the

oil, but don't like the company and the way it treats American

employees. So my question is what are you running in your truck.

No synthetic please. Old and cranky. I change every 5 k. Just the way I do it. Thanks in advance.

DELVAC 1300

Oo.

I remember when Delo was only fit for DD 2 strokes cause it all ended up on the ground anyway. I would hate to think about actually keeping it it the crank case for any length of time. I thought it was for total loss lubrication systems only, ONE PASS and then in the pooper.

I usually run Delo or Rotella.

I used to run only oils made with Pennsylvania grade crude oil, i. e. , Pennzoil, Quaker State, Wolf's Head, Kendall or Amalie. But now they're all gone and bought up by other companies. The Pennzoil and Quaker State refineries are closed up. The Kendall refinery in Bradford is now owned by American Refining Group and they still use only Pennsylvania grade crude oil. Their brand is Penn Brad and they also make all the Gulf motor oils. I haven't tried it yet, but think I will soon.

Valvolene should be good too if it's made at the Ashland, Kentucky refinery. Should be made from Appalachian area crude oil, which is the best for motor oil.

I use rotella but maybe switching to Delo b/c of their additive package includes molybdenum (which in theory i think makes sense) why dont you like shell? are their any big companys that treat their people well these days? and no one likes the union!? well when you give all the power to big co. they stick it to ya. dont bad mouth the unions! they are working for those who are not members also! ok will get off my box

Delo 400 is good oil so is Delvac 1300

I run John Deere 15W-40 Plus 50. It cost about $1. 29 a quart if you buy it buy the 55 gallon drum. Good stuff, I use it in my tractor, boat, Nissan, and Cummins.

CATCRACKER

Don't like Shell because they are a foreign company. I am trying

to buy American. Yeah and all large companies are alike. But

if we don't start buying American, we are all going to be

unemployed.

I wasn't aware the Delo had moly in it. This must be pretty recent. Do have a virgin oil analysis to verify this? As far as I know their formulation has not changed recently and met the CI-4 specs with reformulation.

I'm not trying to start anything, but take this FWIW - The last I checked the JD oils were not API certified.
