DiPricol EGT Gauge - sticky?

I put a Dipricol EGT gauge in about a year ago and thought it was reading hight at idol - tap on it and needle vibrates down about 100 degrees - seems this happens throughout the range - so bad data all the way through.



Anyone else have this issue - should I send it back?

I have a problem with my pricol et guage also. it hangs up at 500* <sometimes>

I called to change it out and it seemed to get better so I never sent it in for exchange.

still hangs 3-4 times a week.

I've had two of them now and both have worked great. Fall down around 300° at idle and climb up smooth from there.

I have had one for about a year, now, and it is real close to what my other EGT reads out. Within 20* or so.

I put mine in about 4 months ago and so far the EGT and boost work great... no sticking. I'll keep my eye on it for trouble since some of you out there seem to be having problems. Mine is pre-turbo. . where's yours?

my gage stuck from the get go and never worked right. i would only go up to 800 at wot. i just go an isspro egt. i didnt want to buy a bad gauge twice. however my diprico boost gage works fine

I switched from the Dipricol to the new Isspro and I like the Isspro alot better-----the center piece fell off the Dipricol and I swapped it out for a new gauge but it wasnt fast reacting and seemed to run low. The Isspro is fast acting and lighting is great.
