My Dipricol fuel pressure gauge is bouncing around. Fass 95 still show good pressure (12. 5-15psi). Let off the go pedal and the gauge holds steady like it used to. What would cause the bouncing of the needle? Gauge messed up or something else?

are you running a isolator with this set up. everytime my gauge acted this way my diaphram in the isolator was blown. did this 2 times untill I put a needle valve prior to the isolator. if this is the case every time this happend I had yuck color on the tubing side from isolator to gauge due to fuel getting in and mixing. some people use antifreeze from isolator to gauge I use liquid silicone. just my 2 cents

Don't know about an isolator..... I have not pulled the gauge (A pillar triple pod) to see if anything is leaking behind. Do not have anythhing showing on the outside anywhere.

so I take it someone else installed it. a isolator is located between your gauge and fuel source. example I have a T fitting just prior to going into my Vp-44 on its fuel line. the fuel line goes into the isolator. if you have one from this dipricol its chrome finish and is square fuel line into it. this (fuel pressure) hits the diphram inside the isolator than putting pressure on the gauge side to register. usually the isolator is located in the engine compartment around the firewall or fuse box area. I ran my plastic tubing for my gauge through the firewall by my clutch pedal and have my gauge down below and not in a pillar. you should still be able to see your tubing coming from your pillar to the fuel source either the injection pump line. or your fuel filter which ever they tapped into to read pressure. check if you have a isolator. check to see if you gauge has good electrical connections. also who ever installed your gauge you should ask them how they did it. everyone has a diff opionion on running a isolator or not or using a needle valve if not. maybe someone else will chime in on this to. a good place for new fittings or to do your plumbing different if needed would be. Vulcan compound turbos, FireBall injectors, DrawStraws, Big Line Kits, FASS, Quadzilla, AirDog, DTT Trans, ISSPRO, HTT Turbos, Veg pumps, metric adapters, fittings, silicone boot kits, brackets, harnesses, AFE, Diamond Eye exhaust, Parker fuel line, for a example.
