Just got off the phone with Prab. He's the head of Dipricol. ( I have been waiting for over two months for a replacement for the leaky isolator for my fuel pressure gauge).
I was told that they had to" totally redesign the isolator". They abandoned the quick connect fitting at the back of the gauge and went to a standard solid brass tube fitting. But the big issue was the leaky cylinder. He said that they changed the inner workings and added additional seals. The new units are" hopefully arriving Friday". I will believe it when I see it. I was so happy that something was fixed that I forgot to ask if they were still using that 4mm tubing that was such a PIA. (I couldn't find fittings or replacement tube anywhere). When the new units arrive I will let you know what I think. Until then, the jury is still out on this new gauge of theirs.
