I had a 1974 ? Vega station wagon when I was 16 it cost 300. 00 I actually poured oil in this thing so often I was trying to figure out a wayto add oil to it while driving it ... . no kidding ... . 3 quarts every 75 miles ???? Man I wish I could be 16 again I swear to you I would drive that damn Vega the rest of my life to be 16 one more time!

Reminds me of the 1974 Chevy Impala I had when I was 17. I drove it from Texas to Michigan and burned over two cases of oil. It would only go 50 mph and would burn two quarts of oil an hour. Every hour, I stopped and put in 2 more quarts.

Just as I was pulling into my Granfather's driveway with $5 left in my wallet, the car stalled and could never be started again.

I had the oil change message a couple of days ago and had the oil ghanged at a dealer in Gafney, SC and I ask the tec if Dodge had done anything about high oil level. He said that dodge was soppose to come out with something to address the problem. Maybe we will get somrthing done.

The girlfriend I had back then was a FOX ! I would gladly drive that damn Vega every where to be 16 one more time. The back seat folded down too!
