5th Wheel Hitch Installation ?

Prodigy question

Trying to escape the heat in West Texas we are taking the 5th wheel to British Columbia and Alberta during July and Aug. Will my direct TV work ok? With no zip codes is there an easy way to set up the dish, I don't want to look-up long. & lat. in the World Atlas. How about the xm radio in the truck?

53 33n 113 28w Edmonton is as far as we will go.

Thanks for any help

It should work, seeing as how 90% of the "hacked" smart cards come from canada...

When setting up, I just set the TV on a lawnchair, hook everything up, point the dish southwest, and start sweeping left to right, when I get the strongest signal, I lock that down then adjust up and down.

piece of cake

just use the Bellingham, WA zip code

It will work fine.

If you come through Seattle, Look up the www.nwbombers.com

We are nice guys :D

My inlaws just drove up from Prescott, AZ, XMRadio never missed a beat either

We spent last summer in Canada and Alaska with a Direct tv account and once you get 500 miles or so into Canada the curvature of the earth makes it impossible to aim your dish at the north american satelite, that is each day you travel farther north you have to keep lowering your dish angle to the point where you are aiming at the horizon and below. I used a signal strength meter for aiming so no zip code was necessary. Once we returned to more southern locations, I was ale to again aim the dish to get a signal.

Guaranteed if you come as far north as Red Deer you can still get a signal-had a buddy with DirecTV that got signal fine and dandy here. I would think even to Edmonton you'd be alright... . but I don't know that for sure. If you're coming close to the Drumheller area drop me a line and I'll give you the locals sightseeing tour of the area!

Calgary Diesel Dyno Stampede????

If you are up during the weekend of the 13-14 of July drop either me or Jhansen a line to hook you up for the show. . Gonna be alot of good technical seminars and fellow members...

Good luck with the dish. . How do they know which ones to Zap with the card blaster??? All my buddies with Direct have given up using it after the last rampage... I thought it was address dependant north of the 49th or what???

Scotty put up a new number with about 1/4 throttle to go. . Lets say its equal to an old Cummins model number, popular in the early 90's. Give up???
