2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Direction of flow

Greeting on this Christmas Eve this may sound like retarded question but I would like to know the direction of water flow of the heater hoses. I have 01HO their are two hoses one is attatched to the block the other goes to the oil cooler I think? Whitch is inlet to heater core and whitch is exit.
