In one of the fan removal threads I read, someone mentioned pulling the AC relay so that the defrost position could be used on the heater without kicking in the AC compressor.
Now that I have my fan removed, I'm trying to figure out where the AC relay is so that I can disconnect it. However, the closest thing to an AC relay that my service manual talks about is the compressor coil, which apparently is mounted on the compressor itself. The only thing in the fuse block relating to the AC system is the fuse, but it's the same fuse as the wiper motor. Is disabling AC as simple as disconnecting and capping with wire nuts the wires at the back of the AC compressor?
If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it!
Mike
