Were in the heck can I go for this Dodge part # 4740352. It is the little bango bolt that screws into the side of the injection pump were the fuel delivery pin goes. The one that has a little tube into the intake manifold. Can anybody give me any idea were to go ?????

Thanks Dan

I have been contemplating how to make a new AFC hose to upgrade form the pot metal line and not have to pay $30 for a new rubber one from Cummins. So far, JB Weld is holding mine together. I had thought of a 1/4" air line, and the right fittings and ferrules to go from the intake manifold to the ACF housing, kind of looping around. Only problem is I'm in half ton gasser country, and anything on a diesel needs to be OEM- "factory knows best," , and no one wants to do R&D on a diesel . Needless to say, trying to explain anything not in a book is like explaining quantum mechanics to a 6 year old, you just get a blank stare. Freightliner dealer only puts B series in a handful of trucks, and dont have many Dodge parts. Boss has quite a few air line related parts in his shop, may go bum stuff off him to see what fits.

Maybe you can go to a hydraulic supply house and come up with an Aero-quip type fitting with the same thread, use one of the sealing washers off hte current bolt under the head and then run a #4 Aero- quip type line with screw on fittings? Ive' never done this , just trying to give you some ideas.

If you can't get it fixed, give me a call and I'll try to help you out...

1-866-888-9396 ask for Bob.

You can use the stiff plastic 1/8" tubing used for air pressure/boost gauges along with the appropriate ferrul and nut. This works fine.

Bob.

Well a new drill bit a 5/16 fine thread 1 1/2" bolt, oopps almost forgot a couple of brass washers and away we go. Burned my friggin fingers but it works. After all these years you would think I should know better than grab a bolt I just got done drilling on.

lol

Thanks again all

Dan
