The Wife's pathetic Toyota Sienna is due for it's 20k mile new tire routine. I called the local Discount Tire and asked if they give a Veteran Discount and they do. That will knock off a minimum of $63 which definately helps.

Discount tire is great about price matching, if you know the exact tire you want go online and find the cheapest price then bring in a print out of it.

Took my 01 Sport to Discount and the Manager would not accept my $$$ for a 4 wheel rotate and balance.

I have bought a few sets of tires from him.

Wayne, Toyota bad design. I have looked into and they have the same problem at least into 2018. If I was still working this thing would be gone. It's ridiculous to have 80k tires shot at 20 and I have tried different brands, alignments are no help. I sure miss the old time alignment shops that knew what it took to eliminate these problems.

It’s so hard to find a good front end shop. It’s mostly “set the toe and let it go”. Sadly that often works.

Body shops, body shops, body shops. A reputable one that can straighten a frame to within a few thousandths likely understands steering geometry better than the average Joe mechanic.

Use to be when there was a bear swinging outside of a place there were people inside that knew how a front end worked. Sadly I haven't seen that in a long time.

To be truthful, the city has a current generation Hunter Hawkeye system. It walks you through a setup and how to adjust. It’s almost foolproof. It’s the fools who won’t knock down the markers to do the right job.

It’s literally this easy to setup. it’s really a great setup.
Walk though adjustments is as easy.
