Discoveries by a new CTD Ram owner...

Here are some things that I discovered yesterday driving to work and the gym and home again.

• Underpasses are fun - I had to drive under two train underpasses yesterday and boy that diesel and turbo whine sounds great. I can't wait for a tunnel!
  
• Car alarms are sensitive - When leaving the parking lot at the gym I set off some guy's Mercedes car alarm, heh-heh. I guess now I'll be doing that on purpose.
  
• Those BFGoodrich tires can't fight the Cummins - I was taking the back way home up a steep and twisty road and even with nice even throttle the Trail TAs were't too happy with the 600lb-ft. That should be fun in the rain.

I love setting off people's car alarms when I drive by. It happens all the time when you find a parking garage you can actually fit in.

Was driving threw Fort Worth Wed night and set off an alarm when I was pulling out of a parking lot that was full. Then I started to pull into a parking garage, the sign said max hight 6'10" I knew it was gong to be close so jsut as I was about to throw it in reverse 4 cars pulled in behind me and I couldnt go anywehre but in the garage so I had my friends hanging out the window seeing if I had room. I was told at one point I had about 1/4 inch of room, if thats not tight I dont know what is. But I still loved hearing my truck drive threw there.

i know what you mean Cstansbury ... wife went to the charleston mall parking garage with her straight pipe ... said alarms went off where ever she drove ...

I've gotten my dually in a couple of parking garages. You wanna talk about TIGHT. :--) Straight piped in there sure sounds

I've only done 3 at work, but it's an outside lot. Oo. Oo. Oo.
