The title pretty well says it.
Here's the details. I have a 95 single cab that I want to axe the computer and most of the stock wiring.
I still want to have my A/C, heat, signals (will retain stock steering column), and windshield wipers.
My first question is.
Does the computer have any actual control over any of these items? Or, are they "hard-wired" and just rely on relays and such?
For example what will it take to make the flaps on the HVAC system work correctly.
Or what about the blinkers and wipers. Can the turn signal switch and the wiper switch (lever on column) handle 12V and then send signal to a standard automotive relay? Or, do they deal with less voltage than that?
My engine is already hard-wired using a separate switch panel and relays.
Now I'm just down to all the details.
Any help would be appreciated.
Also looking for wiring diagrams for a 95.
Thanks for the help,
Wes
