Oysters

The region you folks are in is a tough one for drag racing. I have two options for next year. One being to do just like the rest of the DHRA divisions and have one race in each of the states per month in that territory.

The next idea is to have Bandimere, KCIR or Heartland park, and one in Minnesota become member tracks. That would mean everyone would go to one of those tracks for all of the division races. At the end the member track leaders will meet, along with everyone else for a division final. I really need you alls opinions here, please help.

Along with Heartland Park, there is Nebraska Motorplex (Scribner, NE) and KCIR (Kansas City).

Theres just not enough interest it seems.

That's why I am proposing the member track idea. Even if we only have one track. I feel that if we have 15 - 20 guys commit (sign up) for one track, say KCIR we can have 5 or 6 races there. As the interest grows, we can increase the area we are racing in. I have a feeling we could get 15 committed racers in CO. I just wonder about KCIR. I really want you guys/gals to be a part of this.

I don't race, but i would love to see Bandimere as the new home.

Regardless of where it's at, could you get the other brand racers (Ford, Chevy) to get on the wagon and help out establishing a home?

I will support the KCIR option!

I have been in need of some way to promote the diesel sports here in the KC / Mid western area. I think that this would help me out. I am game on anything that needs to be done to get more intrest. I have been aiming to contact you in seek of help on ideas how to promote. I want to be a part of the midwestern intrest in the diesel sport.
