looks very interesting so far for the non abs bunch. like the price alot more than the other companies. cant really see any close up pics or etc. not sure how new the company is but it has been a calling from alot of us to get a better set up that is good on price. I will watch this thread and watch when they are able to release abs version if they do. thanks for the thread

Yah the price is very attractive. Spending 2Gs on other kits is way too much dough for just a hub kit. And I dont have ABS, so the non-ABS factor is really not a factor for me.

Any new info on the Dlux kits? I am REALLY close to buying this kit and wanted to see if anyone else has purchased from them. I just ordered a set of Moser 35 spline axles (one piece, made from panzer tankalloy) and now it's time for hubs.

97 5. 9 316,000 miles and going strong.

Ordered my full kit last week, should be here this friday. I'll post pics.
Where did you buy those moser CAD delete pieces?

I ordered the EMS CAD delete axle kit. Before ordering I ask them "who builds the axles?"... they told me that Moser builds their axles. I also did not realize you only need to change the side gears to get the 35 spline. EMS had the side gears, so I bought them as well. The total was like $600 esh after taxes and shipping.

"So"... If the Dlux kit works out well, you can get the hubs + moser 35 spline axles for LESS than Dynatrac's "hub only" kit.

I ordered my kit today. Eric (DLUX) says that he contracted a machine shop for the spindles based on his spec, the other components are buy-outs for him. I wouldn't know their country of origin? Besides the bearings, the only other component of magnitude is the hub itself. I "believe" everyone gets the Dana 60 hubs from the same place. I think they are all taken off the old style Chevy Dana 60 pattern.

The DLUX kit and the EMS kit both use a 79esh F350 rotor.

I sent an email to Erik and got a prompt reply. He says that the front track will increase about 1. 5 inches per side. The news I wanted to hear is that his kits don't stick out as much as the dynatrac kit.

Here is a pic that he sent me showing his install on a 3rd gen CTD.

Probably going to be a couple of weeks before the install, I got final exams coming up.
Also doing the front axle seals and a Permanently locking the CAD together.

how do they widen the track if the outboard rotors are still in the same place and stock?

The rotors required with the kit is 79' Ford F350, they have a different profile. So the pad contact surface can be in the same location... and the wheel face be located differently.

I think there are 2 ways to do this; one is a new passenger side one piece axle, or I'm fairly certain someone makes a fixed engagement piece that replaces the CAD assembly... . holding the sliding splined coupling in place. If I recall at one time the Dynatrac kit had this fixed engagement piece? the CAD would not be hard to modify. It is only a matter of locking the fork lever permanetly in the engaged position.

The best way to eliminate the CAD would be Dynatrac's Stage 2 1. 5" axle shaft upgrade.
EMS offroad also offers a CAD delete but it is a tapered axle and is not 1. 5" all the way.
I am about to use posi-locks's Perma-lok kit. It permanently locks the two pieces together.

The EMS kit does provides Moser 1. 5" 35 spline axles. Mine came in today and I just measured them with a mic. The 1. 5" is the smallest section of the axle, the slightly larger outter section measures 1. 6". So the EMS provided, Moser axles are actually larger than 1. 5". They reduce to 1. 5" to fit through the seals and into the 35 spline side gears.

I have not installed the CAD delete kit as yet, but I am impressed with the hardware that showed up, very nice.

Did not know that. Do you have a link to this? Price?

Thanks
