Update:

I now have put around 25K on the hub set up and happy to report zero issues. Everytime I go to use the front end, it's there and it works. The mileage increase is nominal, truck seems to be stuck at 19. 5 mph highway, I have seen 20-21 on rare occassions, but I can't say the hubs changed it much? BUT I think this is all about my right foot. Before the hubs I typically ran 65-70 esh on long trips... now I push 75-80 frequently. The front end is much smoother and has no vibration at all. It just feels a lot better at higher speeds, so I'm going faster as a result... . very smooth.

I constantly preach to my daughters about driving fast. Recently on a 300 mile road trip one of them followed me. The reaction when we stopped was "I don't ever want to hear it again, I have been running 85 just to keep up with you!"

I would do it all again.

Update:

These hubs may have just saved my front drive line and transfer case from mass destruction. I was under the truck a couple of days ago and noticed one of the front u-joint straps was missing a bolt. The strap was loose. Because the front drive shaft no longer spins, it was just sitting there unharmed. I had just come back from a 75 mph run down the highway!

I have seen the damage that is produced when the front drive shafts come out at highways speeds, felt real good about my investment considering what could have happened to my truck.

Ordered a new strap / bolt kit.

 Good catch!! That just paid for the hub kit, right there!!

Here's a pic of the last Ford I fixed from the same thing... . What's left of the front yoke is laying to the right, along with a shock that's got holes in it, and what we could find of the T-case... . That was a good check!!
