Don't know the numbers, do remember that the ratings exceed the class four ratings, I believe. Basically i think its stronger than the truck it is mounted on.

I happen to have one on the back of my truck and LOVE it. Haven't been able to tear it up, between truck pulls, anhydrous tanks, farm wagons, heavy chisel plows, and yanking on stuck 4X4's:D

My dad and I installed it and I must say it is a heavy unit.

You will lose the ability to store your spare under the bed thou.

Found this- http://www.schulinghitch.com/DMI.html

They will handle ALOT more than that.

Boss has one on his 3/4 GMC. He has pullled 2- 10 ton loaded silage wagons at a time, 2 anhydrous tanks, has also pulled an empty Kinze 840 grain cart with it. That cart has a tongue weight of over 2k. Truck squatted bad, but the hitch didn't much care one way or the other. One tough critter! :D

I prefer my Schuck hitch over the DMI. It cushions much better than the DMI. Easy to service if it ever becames necessary.

I have the 750-RT-R. Have had it almost 2yrs. Has held up well. Since I already had the receiver hitch, and didn't want to lose the spare tire under the bed, I bought this instead. Was about $100 cheaper than the DMI Quick and Easy that I had originally considered. With the DMI, the mounts are extra, on top of the hitch cost.

The "quick and easy" reciever hitches are very strong and well built and rated for more than the truck, but I am hear to tell ya that they can be bent. I bent the reciever hitch bar, the one that is 2 x 2 and welded to the flat bar inside the hitch and the part of the hitch that it attaches to. I have a pic of the bent bar in my readers rig under sled pulling pics. Of course that is how I bent it , I am not sure if it bent pulling or by getting hit by the sled stopping, but it did bend I straightened the bar and the hitch frame is still bent and works just fine. Just so ya know it is possible and I the dumby did it.

DMI hitches

I believe DMI sold out to ''United Truck Parts'' they have a web

sight. Phone 877-887-7278

This hitch will ruin you,you wont go back. Get out 1 time, hook up

and go. A real transmission saver. Oh yea its rated class IV.

Puzzles me why more people don't have them. If your going to put this on a 3rd Gen you'll have to raise the bed up[loosen 4 or 6 bolts] a few inches to lift the factory hitch out of a slot it sits in.

I'm assuming your referring to the ''Quick-Cus-n'' adjustable hitch.
